Looking for a creative place to collaborate in an award-winning, driven team? Are you ready to develop innovative wearables to improve people’s lives? If your answers are “yes!”, then read on!

Who we are

At Elitac Wearables, we love our jobs. That is right. Love. Every day we go to work fired up and inspired to creatively solve problems, to be excellent and innovate. Why? Because we are on a mission. The mission to improve the lives of 1 million people by 2035. We do so with our meaningful wearables by combining textiles and electronics, haptic technology, and sensor integration for the Medical and Safety sectors. And our projects and our people reflect what we value the most: meaningfulness and respect. We are on the lookout for interesting and versatile thinkers and doers who can add to the culture of a forward-thinking company that is proud of its rewarding history.

About the role

As a Hardware Developer at Elitac Wearables, you will be working on all-things hardware for our wearables, think of designing, improving, fixing, or redesigning concepts and products. You will collaborate in a small project team with designers, researchers, software developers, other hardware developers, and/or clients to come up with the most electrifying concepts and solutions. Depending on the project and its stage, you and your team will materialise easy solutions to validate an idea; while in other projects, the focus lies on engineering scalable solutions and complying with manufacturing and quality standards. Following our development process, you will be fully involved in designing the hardware from scratch to validation and testing for production. Ultimately, you will work closely with our two hardware developers, who will mentor you and share all of their years of experience and knowledge in the field.

  • Problem-solving is your second name, and you do not give up when the first or second solution does not work.
  • Something broke? Sure you are the first one to solder the pieces together.
  • You value working in a diverse team where broad perspectives are highly regarded.
  • You can work efficiently on your own and take ownership of the hardware in your current projects.
  • Good communication skills are nothing new to you.
  • You are looking for a career that is more dynamic and rewarding than your current job 😉
