Project Lead

with experience in design, hardware or software development

  • Are you a project lead who enjoys working on multiple projects and managing multiple deadlines?
  • Would you like to collaborate with product and textile designers, hardware and software developers and researchers in one team?
  • And develop innovative wearables that improve people’s lives?

Then please keep reading…

Who are we?

We are a growing company, specialized in developing wearables that integrate electronics and textiles, with a focus on haptic feedback applications. Together with partners from the health and safety/professional sectors we develop new products from concept right to market-ready products, and anywhere in-between. We also collaborate with universities to develop and apply new scientific knowledge.

We work in multidisciplinary Agile teams on multiple projects that can vary in length and do most of our research and development in-house at our office and Wearables Lab. We value curiosity and creativity in our people and our projects reflect that.

We imagine a future in which smart clothing is all around us – where e-textiles improve quality of life and the technology is applicable to everyday products. One thing all our projects have in common is that they add real value: for example, our BalanceBelt allows people with balance disorders to live normal lives again and our Mission Navigation Belt keeps soldiers in the field safer, while the NeuroShirt will help reduce the cognitive load for neurosurgeons during surgeries.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can organize and manage several projects at the same time. These projects are all related to developing wearables, but are often at different stages of the development process: From a feasibility study for a potential product to a market launch and anything in between.

At Elitac Wearables, we work on projects in multidisciplinary teams, with designers, hardware and software developers. Preferably, you will have already gained experience in at least one of these disciplines, and you are willing to make the effort to learn about the ins and outs of the others.

As we work in an Agile environment, we are not looking for a ‘classic’ project manager, but someone who is comfortable working with Scrum teams, product backlogs and sprints.
