McRoberts introduction

Our innovative partner McRoberts BV is one of the leaders in ambulatory monitoring of physical activity. They are specialised in human movement and analysis of sensor data and provide their propriety wearable hardware (called the DynaPort7) to clinical (pharmaceutical) research and validation studies, worldwide.

McRoberts’ DynaPort 7 is a wearable device worn on the lower back with an elastic band around the waist, enabling to easily assess physical activity and physical performance of research subjects. Collected data is automatically analysed within 15 minutes by their validated algorithms, where after reports with results on body postures, locomotion, sleep movements and performance are available. The monitors are used in three distinct markets: in clinical care, clinical trials and research.

After hardware review we arranged the production of 700 pieces of the DynaPort7 for McRoberts. Within the review we did not only optimize the product, but we also took production steps optimisation into account. In this way we reduced the products production time by 50%.

For production we made use of our wide network of production partners to ensure an efficient and smooth production run. We started the production with a first 250 pieces which are now ready to use.

For every production we arrange, we make sure all documentation and instructions are clear so whenever our clients want more products or wants to upscale the production, we have all documents ready to start again or to transfer our work to a large production partner.
