About Elitac Wearables

At Elitac Wearables we are on a mission to improve the lives of 1 million people by 2035. We improve people’s daily lives with our meaningful wearables, combining textiles and electronics, haptic technology and sensor integrations. Our clients are active in the Medical, Safety, or Sports domains, where our wearables help improve quality of lifesafety, and performance.
We work in multidisciplinary Agile teams with designers, hardware engineers, software developers and researchers. We work on a variety of projects at the same time. Most of our research and development happens in-house at our office and Wearables Lab.
We work for clients, join in research projects and develop our own products. Our core values are reflected in our people, the way we work and our projects:

Meaningful, Respect & Teamwork.

About the role

At Elitac Wearables we are active in many diverse R&D project with on-body electronics systems. Lately, the focus is more on (dry, textile) electrodes for ECG and EMG measurement or EMS. We also work a lot with IMU’s to measure gait. We are specialised in haptic feedback, giving information to users through vibrations, which all together allows for Sensory substitution; helping people live with lost senses.

You will be working alongside our senior researcher, who is specialised in human factors and haptic feedback technology and sets up our researches. Together, you will be executing (user) tests, sometimes elaborative and external, often ‘quick and dirty’ in our Wearables Lab, to validate first ideas, proof of concepts and prototypes.
